7º Encuentro Internacional en Vimianzo, España: Congreso Internacional “Emigración e inmigración por razones laborales en el rural de la Unión Europea”7th International Encounter in Vimianzo, Spain: International Congress
Participation: Encounter was attended by 31 international representatives on behalf of all project partners from Portugal, Italy, Poland, Northern Ireland and Slovakia, as well as 138 invited Spanish guests from the local community. In total, 169 participants joined this event.
Location/ Dates: Encounter was organized by the project Lead Partner Municipality of Vimianzo in Galicia, Spain and was realized from 2nd to 7th of October 2017.
Short description: The different activities of the Congress (conferences, exhibition panels, roundtables, presentation of communications, exhibitions, etc.) aimed to reflect on the current reality in different European rural communities and on the reasons that produce the different levels of development and opportunities, and generate the human displacements; it also tried to give practical answers to issues related to European mobility, in rural areas such as Vimianzo, characterized by emigration (mainly for labor and economic reasons), and present the results of the ERN4mob project as well as its future prospects.
6th International Encounter in Slovakia: Good Practices transfer for the ERN4mob
Short description: Aim of the meeting was to discuss and present plans regarding the implementation and transfer of good practices into the local/regional realities of project partners. Project partners discussed possibilities of future cooperation and functioning of the network. Each of the partner stated their vision and possible points of cooperation for the future. Participants also attended a presentation by Asylum facility located in Humenné who described their functioning and activities for the asylum seekers.

Short description: The encounter was officially opened by the Mayor Joviano Vitorino who on behalf of the Town Alter do Chão welcomed all the project participants. After the official opening, where were the 15 mayors of the 15 towns of Alto Alentejo – Alter do Chão, Arronches, Avis, Crato, Campo Maior, Castelo de Vide, Elvas, Fronteira, Gavião, Marvão, Monforte, Nisa, Ponte de Sor, Portalegre and Sousel, the project presentation event took place; during that event, the Mayor Joviano Vitorino invited the Mayor Manuel Antelo Pazos from Vimianzo (Spain), the project Leader Partner, to do a brief and informal presentation of the ERN4mob project.

International meeting launch and presentation of the project
- Participation: The event involved 60 citizens, including 3 participants from Kostrzyn nad Odra (Poland), 5 from Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo (Portugal), 3 from Newry, Mourne and Down District (United Kingdom), 3 from Petrosino (Italy), 4 from Zemplínske Hámre (Slovakia) and 42 from Vimianzo (Spain).
- Location/ Dates: The event took place in Vimianzo, Spain, from 15/03/2016 to 18/03/2016.
- Short description: The aim of the event was the project launch, its official presentation and Kickoff meeting. During the third day (on 17th of April), the Open day “Addressing immigration, emigration and social exclusion in European rural communities” was celebrated and the last day (on 18th of April), the Roundtable “Action Plan to identify the needs regarding European rural mobility; preparation of the second international encounter” took place. Europejska Siec Miast dla Usprawnienia Mobilności na Rynku Pracy
W 2016r. rozpocznie się realizacja projektu pt. Europejska Siec Miast dla Usprawnienia Mobilności na Rynku Pracy (European Rural Network for Job Mobility, ERN4mob) dofinansowanego w ramach programu Europa dla Obywateli 2014-2020 mającego na celu zwiększenie zaangażowania społeczno- obywatelskiego w miastach biorących udział w przedsięwzięciu. Parterami projektu są samorządy mniejszych europejskich miast: Urząd Miasta w Kostrzynie nad Odrą, Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alto Alentejo (Portugalia), Newry, Urząd Powiatowy Mourne and Down District Council (Wielka Brytania) oraz Gmina Comune di Petrosino (Włochy) oraz ANAPTYXIAKI FTHIOTIDAS S.A OTA (Grecja), natomiast Partnerem Wiodącym projektu jest Urząd Miasta Concello de Vimianzo (Hiszpania).
Celem projektu jest stworzenie, rozwój oraz usprawnienie współpracy pomiędzy europejskimi urzędami, a przede wszystkim aktywizacja społeczności lokalnych na płaszczyźnie inicjatyw międzynarodowych. Projekt ukierunkowany jest jednocześnie na rozwiązywanie potrzeb i problemów w zakresie mobilności na europejskim rynku pracy oraz wymianę dobrych praktyk pomiędzy urzędami miejskimi biorącymi udział w projekcie. Liczymy, iż poprzez obserwację innowacyjnych rozwiązań stosowanych w państwach partnerów projektu, Miasto Kostrzyn nad Odrą będzie mogło aktywnie włączać się w rozwiązywanie problemów mieszkańców Kostrzyna nad Odrą w zakresie mobilności na europejskim rynku pracy.
